Hassler, Hans Leo

A religious musician who was also engaged in writing secular music, served as an organist in different churches in Germany most of his life; however, his significance is on the vocal music he wrote. He composed masses'Kyrie' from Missa Secunda - Hassler'Sanctus and Benedictus' from Missa Secunda - Hassler and madrigals for many voices, and in the sacred field - wrote many motets.
