Granados y Campina, Enrique

A SpanishAndaluza (Playera) - Granados composer deeply influenced by Spanish visual art, and a famous pianist, most of whose works were written for the piano. Enrique Granados studied the piano and composition in Barcelona and then in Paris. He wrote a number of zarzuelas. His most important work, "Goyescas", was written under the influence of Spaniard painter Goya. He drowned after a German submarine, during World War I, fired a torpedo at the ship that brought him from America to Spain.
